Tesla started rolling out firmware 2026.38 on 29 September 2026, a new branch that skips five branch numbers past the current 2026.32. Only one entry is unambiguously new: Visual Updates, giving the centre display higher quality images of the car and an enhanced park scene. The Supercharger Site Maps entry is the feature's first appearance in a vehicle release note, but Site Maps have been in the car since the 2025 Holiday Update, still require an AMD Ryzen computer, and still cover only two European sites. Wheel Selection and Apple Music are carried forward from earlier branches. At 0.4% of the tracked fleet, early installs skew towards Europe on Model 3, Model Y and legacy Model X, though the sample is too small to call a pattern.

Firmware 2026.32.7 reached customer cars on 23 September 2026 with release notes identical to 2026.32.3. The branch's real addition — a network-level ad blocker in the car browser, worth most on older Intel MCU2 units — has never been documented. The 2026.32 branch now covers about 46% of the tracked fleet.

Firmware 2026.32.3 opened Tesla's 2026.32 branch on 9 September 2026 with just four release-note entries for Model 3 and Model Y: a new Wheel Selection option, a reprinted Apple Music entry, security fixes, and the remedy for EU Recall 2026_103555 on pole side impact. There is no FSD section at all — that work stays on 2026.27.x — and the build sits at 0.4% to 0.8% of the tracked fleet against 2026.26's 79.5%.

Tesla firmware 2026.27.200, released 1 September 2026, is the first build in the 2026.27 branch to carry a recall notice: the remedy for EU Recall Submission 2026_103555, restoring compliance with UNECE Regulation No. 135 on pole side impact, for Model 3 and Model Y. Every other release-note entry is carried forward from 2026.27.100.1 unchanged.

Firmware 2026.27.100.1 brings the 2026 Summer Update and FSD 14.2.2.6 to Hardware 4 cars on the FSD branch, starting in Europe — the first merge of Tesla's FSD and feature branches this cycle.

Tesla's 2026 Summer Update has landed as firmware 2026.26, released on 26 July 2026 and already superseded by a 2026.26.1 point release. The feature split follows infotainment silicon: Grok voice commands, Caraoke scoring and the new browser camera access need the AMD computer, while Preferred Routes and Supercharger-by-name search reach the whole fleet.

Tesla's 2026.20 firmware introduces Parental Controls that block the in-car Web Browser, Tesla Theater, and Tesla Arcade; AES-style Dashcam clip encryption keyed to the Tesla account; and integration of xAI's Grok assistant via the App Launcher. Rear-seat map interaction and customisable Pet Mode names round out the release.

Tesla started rolling out firmware 2026.14.6 on 12 May 2026. The release focuses on bug fixes and security improvements, with Tesla pushing some installs over cellular to speed deployment.

Tesla 2026.14.6 introduces a one-tap Self-Driving subscription app, Premium Immersive Sound, interactive rear-display navigation for passengers and expanded avatar customization on top of the carry-over 2026.14 Spring feature set.

Tesla's 2026.14.3 Spring Update entered its third deployment wave on 28 April 2026, bringing sharper Model 3 and Model Y visualizations, the new Creations app for sketches and Photobooth, 24-hour Dashcam clips, weather maps, and overnight automatic install scheduling.
