Tesla's 2026 Summer Update has landed as firmware 2026.26, released on 26 July 2026 and already superseded by a 2026.26.1 point release. The feature split follows infotainment silicon: Grok voice commands, Caraoke scoring and the new browser camera access need the AMD computer, while Preferred Routes and Supercharger-by-name search reach the whole fleet.

Tesla's 2026.20 firmware introduces Parental Controls that block the in-car Web Browser, Tesla Theater, and Tesla Arcade; AES-style Dashcam clip encryption keyed to the Tesla account; and integration of xAI's Grok assistant via the App Launcher. Rear-seat map interaction and customisable Pet Mode names round out the release.

Tesla started rolling out firmware 2026.14.6 on 12 May 2026. The release focuses on bug fixes and security improvements, with Tesla pushing some installs over cellular to speed deployment.
