Tesla began rolling out Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.3.11 on 6-7 October 2026 inside firmware 2026.33.5, a Hardware 4 build for North America. Not a Tesla App listed it at 0% of the tracked fleet on the morning of 7 October, and the first owner reports arrived overnight.

The interesting number in this release is not 14.3.11. It is 33.

The FSD branch finally left 2026.27

For six weeks the 14.3 branch has been riding variations of the same two base firmwares. This build moves it.

Firmware FSD version Released
2026.26.6.5 14.3.8 26 Aug 2026
2026.27.5 14.3.9 6 Sep 2026
2026.27.10 14.3.10 19 Sep 2026
2026.33.5 14.3.11 6 Oct 2026

A jump from the 2026.27 base to 2026.33 is six branches in one step, and it is the first real change of foundation since v14.3.8 put the branch on Summer Update firmware in August.

It is still not the firmware most cars are running

The mainline fleet has moved further. Tesla skipped five branches to reach 2026.38 at the end of September, and 2026.38.3 shipped Halloween Mode on 6 October at 0.3% of the fleet — a higher share than the FSD build released the same week.

So the gap did not close. It moved. Cars on the FSD branch are now five versions behind the general release instead of eleven, and the FSD branch is still where the newest autonomy code lands first and the newest convenience features land last.

The release notes are carried forward for a third time

The FSD section reads as it has since August: the upgraded reinforcement-learning training stage, the neural network vision encoder, the AI compiler and runtime "rewritten from the ground up with MLIR" for a "20% faster reaction time", the unified model across Actually Smart Summon, FSD and Robotaxi, the 8 mph Summon limit, the intervention-reason prompt, the parking display on the map.

Every one of those appeared in v14.3.10, whose notes were in turn a verbatim reprint of v14.3.9's seventeen bullets. The MLIR rewrite and its 20% figure have now been printed as new in four consecutive builds. Automatic Collision Evasion is listed again too, having actually arrived with v14.3.9 a month ago.

What else is in 2026.33.5

Drive Tesla Canada's notes for the build list Apple Music library search, security improvements and wheel-selection options alongside the FSD section, across Model S (refresh), Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck. None of that is new to the fleet either; it is the 2026.33 base catching the FSD branch up with features the mainline already has.

What the region label is not, and where Europe stands

Not a Tesla App tags the build "FSD 14.3.11 N. America". That is a build target, not a market launch. Europe remains on its own branch and its own, older FSD version, and nothing in this release changes which countries can turn the feature on — that is still a question for the EU type-approval committee, not for a firmware number.
