Tesla's software updates rolling out in May and June 2025 (versions 2025.14 through 2025.20) bring a focused batch of practical improvements for daily driving and charging.

Supercharging Live Activity

The headline feature: you can now monitor your Supercharging session via Live Activity on iPhone and paired Apple Watch. The widget shows real-time charge percentage, estimated time remaining, and cost — without needing to open the Tesla app.

For European owners who often Supercharge during road trips, this removes the need to keep checking the app while grabbing coffee or stretching legs.

Energy App Gets Fleet Comparison

The Energy App now displays the average speed of the Tesla fleet for a given route alongside your actual speed. It calculates how much energy you could save by adjusting your pace — useful data for owners optimising range on longer European journeys where speed limits vary significantly between countries.

Trunk Open Warning

Tesla now warns you when you shift into Drive with the trunk open. You can acknowledge and continue or choose to auto-close. A small but welcome safety addition, particularly for owners who load cargo and forget to close before driving.

Other Additions

Feature What It Does
Child Left Alone Detection Flashes lights, sounds alert, notifies Tesla app
Multi-delete Dashcam/Sentry clips Select and delete multiple clips at once
Blind spot camera in Camera app View blind spot while Camera app is open
Alternative Trip Plans Choose from multiple route options
Dog Mode floor temp Lowered to 64°F / 18°C

European Availability

These updates are rolling out to European vehicles through May-June 2025. Not all features may be available simultaneously across all markets, as regulatory approval timelines vary.

Update (March 2026): The Holiday 2025 update later added Rave Cave, Grok voice assistant, and frontal airbag enhancements.
