Upgraded Vision Encoder
FSD v14.2 features an upgraded neural network vision encoder leveraging higher resolution features. This improves object detection accuracy, particularly for emergency vehicles, obstacles, and road debris.
MAD MAX Speed Profile
A new MAD MAX speed profile has been added for drivers who prefer higher speeds and more frequent lane changes. Combined with the existing SLOTH and CHILL profiles, this gives drivers a wider range of driving personality options.
Improved Obstacle Handling
- Better detection and offsetting around road debris and static obstacles
- Enhanced handling of unprotected turns, lane changes, and vehicle cut-ins

Arrival Options and Speed Profiles
The Arrival Options and Speed Profiles features introduced in v14.1 continue to be refined, with saved preferences per location and stronger driver profile influence on behaviour.
