Upgraded Vision Encoder
FSD v14.2.2.5 enhances the neural network vision encoder with higher resolution features, improving detection accuracy for emergency vehicles, obstacles, and human gestures. The system now recognises hand signals from traffic controllers and construction workers.
Arrival Options
Drivers can select a destination parking preference: Parking Lot, Street, Driveway, Garage, or Curbside. The system uses a reasoning model to assess suitable options and saves preferences per location.
Speed Profiles
New SLOTH (conservative) and MAD MAX (aggressive) speed profiles are available alongside the existing CHILL mode. The right scroll wheel on the steering wheel now adjusts speed profiles directly. Driver profile settings have a stronger influence on maximum speed and driving behaviour.
Emergency Vehicle Handling
Improved detection and yielding for police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances. The system responds more appropriately when emergency vehicles are detected nearby.
Navigation Integration
The vision-based neural network incorporates live routing data for real-time handling of blocked roads and detours.
