Digital Wallet Key Support
Tesla is adding digital wallet key functionality, particularly for Huawei HarmonyOS. This allows unlocking the vehicle without opening the Tesla app, by adding the vehicle key directly to the phone wallet. Improves reliability and reduces power consumption compared to Bluetooth-based keys.
Smart Breaker Integration
Support for WiFi-connected smart breakers enables remote control and energy monitoring of home circuits. For Powerwall owners, this allows automatic shutoff of high-consumption devices during outages to extend backup power duration.
